Stay local. Feel at home.
Homemandu is a small collection of homely stays across Nepal, run by people who live here — not a booking platform, a neighbourhood. Our first home is open now in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
Built by people who actually live here
Homemandu was started by a small team of tourism professionals based in Kathmandu — the same people behind Homely Stay. We wanted a way to welcome travellers the way we'd welcome a friend: fewer transactions, more warmth.
Every Homemandu property is run directly by local hosts, furnished for real stays rather than photo shoots, and priced without the guesswork. Whether you're here for a short trip, a work stint, or an extended stay, the goal is the same: somewhere that feels like yours from the first night.
- Locally hosted, not outsourced — every stay has a real host you can reach.
- Pet friendly by default — bring your travel companion along.
- New homes added carefully — quality over a long list of listings.
The first Homemandu stay
Now open in New Baneshwor — a central, easy-to-reach part of Kathmandu, close to embassies, offices, and the airport.
A comfortable apartment furnished for real living — a proper kitchen, fast wifi for remote work, and enough space to spread out. New listing, run directly by the Homely Stay host team, with pets welcome.
Why travellers choose Homemandu
Three things we care about more than a five-star rating count.
Genuinely local
Every host lives in the city they host in, so you get real recommendations, not a script.
No surprise fees
What you see on the listing is what you pay — cleaning and service costs are shown upfront.
Room for pets
Furry travel companions are welcome at our stays — just let your host know ahead of time.
